This week on Pop Rocks hear details about Alicia Keys and Beyonce’s Super Bowl performances.

Justin Timberlake performed at his first show in almost five years Saturday February 2. The “Suit and Tie” singer’s show was in New Orleans. Timberlake was joined by Jay-Z during his “Suit and Tie” performance. The singer also sang two songs “That Girl” and “Pusher Love Girl” from his upcoming album titled “The 20/20 experience.” Timberlake didn’t only sing songs from his upcoming album. The singer pleased his audience by singing some of his classic songs like “Cry Me a River”, “What Comes Around”, and “SexyBack.”

In Super Bowl news, Alicia Keys kicked off the highly awaited game by singing the National Anthem Sunday February 3. The singer sang the “The Star Spangled Banner” while she played the piano.

Beyonce also took the stage during the Super Bowl. The singer had a show-stopping performance during the Super Bowl’s halftime. The pop star sang “Crazy in Love”, “Love on Top” and several others during her high-energy and dance-packed performance. One of the most anticipated moments of the performance however was when Beyonce reunited with her former Destiny’s Child group members Kelly Rolland and Michelle Williams. The group sang “Bootylicious”, Independent Woman” and Beyonce’s “Single Ladies.”

In album news, My Bloody Valentine released their first album since their 1991 album titled “Loveless” February 2.

Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds will release their album titled “Push the Sky Away” February 19.

In other news, Frank Ocean will likely not be pressing criminal charges against Chris Brown for the brawl that occurred outside of a West Hollywood recording studio. In a Tumblr post, Ocean implied that he would not press charges against Brown and writes about forgiveness.
